Acceptable Use Policy

You and your users may not:

• Use the platform for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive or harassing purposes.
• Upload malware, or attempt to breach, probe or degrade the platform or other customers' data.
• Bypass usage limits, authentication, billing or rate limiting, including via automated scripts.
• Reverse engineer, resell, sublicense or white-label the service without written permission.
• Store data you have no lawful right to hold, or that you are contractually forbidden to place in a cloud service.
• Upload payment card numbers, government identification numbers or health records into free-text fields or AI prompts.
• Impersonate another business, person or ContractorPro.io itself.

When you use ContractorPro.io to send email — directly or through an AI employee — you are the sender and you are responsible for compliance with the CAN-SPAM Act and equivalent laws. You agree that every commercial message you send will:

• Use accurate "from", "reply-to" and routing information, and a non-deceptive subject line.
• Identify the message as an advertisement where it is one.
• Include your valid physical postal address.
• Provide a clear, working unsubscribe mechanism and honor opt-outs promptly, at no cost to the recipient.
• Only be sent to recipients you have a lawful basis or existing business relationship to contact.

Purchased, scraped or harvested contact lists are prohibited. We may suspend sending for accounts that generate excessive spam complaints or bounces.

Phone and mobile numbers you store in ContractorPro.io are collected and used by you, for your business. If you call or text those numbers — manually, automatically, or with AI assistance — you are responsible for compliance with the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, state telemarketing laws and carrier rules. You agree to:

• Obtain and retain the required prior express (and, for marketing, prior express written) consent before sending marketing calls or texts.
• Never condition a purchase, estimate or service on agreeing to receive marketing messages.
• Disclose that message and data rates may apply, and state message frequency.
• Honor STOP, UNSUBSCRIBE, QUIT and equivalent opt-out keywords immediately, and respect quiet hours and do-not-call lists.
• Keep records of consent for as long as applicable law requires.

ContractorPro.io does not provide consent on your behalf and does not verify that any number in your account is contactable.

Do not use AI employees to generate unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or misleading content, to impersonate a real person, to produce documents you present as professionally certified when they are not, or to make automated decisions about hiring or credit without appropriate human review. When you connect an external account or paste an API key, you confirm you are authorized to do so and that your use complies with that provider's terms. Use least-privilege credentials, rotate keys you no longer need, and disconnect integrations when a team member leaves.

Report abuse to info@contractorpro.io. We may investigate, throttle, suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy or create risk for other customers, and where the law requires it we will cooperate with authorities. Where reasonable we give notice and an opportunity to fix the issue first. See the Terms of Service.
